Volunteer your time and skills to help us support more people.

Thank you for your interest in giving your time to volunteer with Night Ministry street outreach.

Street outreach is at the heart of our mission, we aim to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through practical assistance to Dundee's most marginalised people, some of whose lives may have been blighted by homelessness, prostitution, mental health issues or addiction to alcohol or drugs.

Night Ministry provides an opportunity for our volunteers to connect with individuals.  Through their servant hearts the gospel is shared and lives are transformed.

Values of selflessness, being non-judgmental, integrity and honesty, excellence and professionalism, collaboration and partnership lie in everything we do at Night Ministry.  We SEE people not projects, and care for anyone regardless of who they are and whatever their circumstances.

We are looking for volunteers from the following roles:

Street Outreach volunteers:

Whether you have spare time on your hands or are driven to give something back, street outreach volunteers offer a valuable range of skills and life experiences particularly relevant to homeless people trying to put their life back on track.

Are you looking to volunteer as part of your company’s social responsibility policy? Do you have a set number of days available to you each year? We can help you use your gifts of time and creativity in a meaningful way supporting some of Dundee’s most vulnerable people. Why not consider offering your professional expertise as well as your time.

Peer volunteers:

Volunteers who have previously been homeless or who have had similar life experiences to the people we support offer a particular perspective and approach that helps us provide even better services.
